Capcom has announced that The Mercenaries will be added to its remake of Resident Evil 4 on April 7 as a free DLC. The mode challenges players to earn as many points as possible in just a couple of minutes by killing enemies, with the gameplay focusing on Resident Evil 4’s third-person action gameplay. The mode also allowed players to unlock and play as other characters, including Ada Wong and Jack Krauser. While the exact form of the mode in the remake hasn’t been revealed, reviews of the game suggest that the combat has been entirely revamped for the better. The remake of Resident Evil 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
