Samsung has released a new camera update for its Galaxy S23 series that fixes a number of bugs and enhances video quality. The update improves autofocus speed and accuracy, along with the speed of the Camera and Gallery apps. The autofocus algorithm has been changed to allow for photos to be taken even if the frame is out of focus or not set, but users can change settings for the camera shutter to click only after the frame is in focus. The update also improves sharpness and reduces flicker while shooting ultrawide videos in lowlight scenarios using the Super Steady mode. Samsung has also enhanced the optical image stabilization performance to solve intermittent blurring issues. The update is expected to be released globally in the coming weeks.
