Tecno has launched its new smartphone Spark 10 5G in India, which will be available for purchase from April 7 across all partner retail stores. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1612) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of 120Hz, Memory Fusion RAM technology, and expandable storage of up to 1TB via a micro-SD card. It is powered by an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with an 950MHz ARm Mali-G57 GPU, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage. For optics, there is a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an AI sensor, while the selfie camera is an 8-megapixel AI-supported one. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W flash charge support and a standby time of 39 days. It comes in Meta Black, Meta Blue, and Meta White colour options and is priced at Rs. 12,999.
The Tecno Spark 10 Pro was also launched in India in March this year, featuring a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Tecno is a Chinese smartphone maker owned by Transsion Holdings, which also owns other smartphone brands such as Infinix and itel. The company has been expanding its product lineup in India with a focus on budget smartphones. With the launch of the Spark 10 5G, Tecno aims to tap into the growing demand for affordable 5G smartphones in the country.
