Meet the judges for GamesBeat Visionary Awards. They are ready to recognize the industry leaders who have made the biggest impact in gaming.

GamesBeat Summit 2023, a gathering of top gaming leaders in Los Angeles, is set to take place on May 22-23. The event will feature speeches from the brightest minds of the gaming industry, who will share updates on the latest developments. Attendees can register for the event using a discount code, GBSDEANWEB25, for 25% off before the early bird deadline expires on April 5.

The sixth annual GamesBeat Visionary Awards will be given out at the summit. The awards honor game industry leaders who have demonstrated real vision for the future. The event began in 2018 as a way to give back to the GamesBeat community and reward unrecognized individuals. Friends of the winners are invited to present the awards, which makes for a meaningful and emotional experience.

A panel of 11 judges has been chosen for this year’s contest. The judges include Shuhei Yoshida, Head of PlayStation Indies at Sony Interactive Entertainment; Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President Group General Manager at Electronic Arts; and Sarah Bond, Corporate Vice President for Xbox at Microsoft. The panel also includes former CEOs and founders of some of the top gaming companies.

This year’s contest will include the annual Up and Comer Award, which recognizes an individual in the industry with high potential for future achievement, regardless of age or experience. Past winners include Natasha “ZombaeKills” Zinda and Dinga Bakaba, the studio head and co-director at Arkane Lyon of Bethesda studio.
