LG has added a new model to its UltraGear line of gaming monitors – the 49GR85DC-B. This monitor has a 49-inch VA panel, a 32:9 aspect ratio, 5,120 by 1,440 resolution, and features class-leading HDR capabilities. It has a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1ms pixel response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium, making it ideal for ultrawide gaming fans. However, the monitor comes with a high price tag of $1,300, and few games support the 32:9 resolution. The 49GR85DC-B is available for preorder through LG’s website, and customers who pre-order it will receive a complimentary $200 mouse mat that doubles as a USB hub and features RGB lighting.
