Lamborghini’s hybrid supercar travels electric-only for six miles – a cool feat for the eco-loving speedster.

Luxury sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has announced its first plug-in hybrid supercar called the Revuelto. The car has a combustion engine that can charge its 3.8 kWh battery in six minutes through regenerative braking, while the car can travel just 6.2 miles using battery power alone. The engine produces 814 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and boasts various air intake ducts located throughout the car to improve airflow. The Revuelto has a sleek design influenced by aerospace engineering and classic Lamborghini models. It is outfitted with technology like a 12.3-inch digital cockpit and the brand’s first advanced driver-assist system. The Revuelto will cost $542,165 and is the first step towards Lamborghini’s goal of producing cars that run on synthetic fuel by the 2030s.
