How to Save Gifs from Twitter
Did you ever come across a gif that looks like ‘never seen before’? You feel like you should have it on your phone for easy access. After a lot of trying, you don’t find a way to save that gif you’ve found out on Twitter. So here is how you can save gifs from twitter.
How to Save Gifs from Twitter (While using a laptop):
Step 1:
You must have the EZGIF website open on your phone/ laptop. The link to the website is here. EZGIF looks something like this. Select the option of video to GIF and feel free to explore the site, in case if you need some more applications out of it.
Step 2:
After that, simply copy-paste the URL of the tweet containing the GIF that you want to have. For that, go to twitter. If you’re using your laptop, click on that right button of options and choose ‘Copy Link to Tweet’. Paste it on your EZGIF. Refer to the example below!
Step 3:
Back on EZGIF, click on ‘Upload Video!’. This process might take some time depending on the size of the video you’ve uploaded. Here, it is hardly anything, so not much of a hassle. Make sure you read the notes carefully and also mention which part of the ‘now video’ you want as your GIF. Click on the ‘Convert to GIF’ if your all parameters are set.
Step 4:
Given that you need some extra special effects with your new GIF, you can use features like the one shown below. It includes cropping, splitting, the addition of filters, cutting, speeding it up and writing some additional texts on it. Finally, when you feel you’re done with the modifications, you can click on ‘Save’ and the download will automatically start.
How to Save Gifs from Twitter (While using Mobile)
For short and quick references, you can’t always download a GIF into your laptop and then import it into your mobile- this will be leisure turned to torture!
So, to directly get the GIFs directly on your mobile, simply follow all the above procedures, but on your mobile phone. When you save the rendered GIF on your phone, it doesn’t need to be imported and is handy to send or upload anywhere.
Step 1:
The only change in the above steps and this is that you have to tap the share icon to copy the link, and instead of sending it anywhere else, paste it to the EZGIF website. Refer to the image below.
One good feature of the EZGIF website is that although the video is being rendered to GIF, it’s quality does not change a bit. In some rare instances, you can actually find the quality of GIF a bit better than the quality of the video!
We simply give input as a video- that is nothing but the GIF from the twitter source itself. Thus, a GIF is again converted into a GIF.
