PlayStation has announced its lineup of monthly free games for April 2023 that will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on different tiers from April 4 through May 1. The three featured games include Meet Your Maker, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Tails of Iron. Meet Your Maker, a first-person building-and-raiding game, will be available as a day 1 launch title on PS Plus. Sackboy: A Big Adventure, a 3D platformer, is a spinoff of the popular LittleBigPlanet series, and Tails of Iron is an action-RPG with Souls-like combat.
Meet Your Maker, developed by Behaviour Interactive, is a first-person shooter that also lets players build their own outpost while raiding outposts built by other players. Players navigate through a labyrinth of traps, obstacles, and enemies, using firearms, explosives, and other tools such as a melee weapon and grappling hook. Sackboy: A Big Adventure, developed by Sumo Digital, follows the trials of its titular character, and features improved interactivity and movement mechanics. The game can be played in up to four-player local and online multiplayer.
Tails of Iron, developed by Odd Bug Studio, features a unique hand-drawn art style and follows the story of Redgi, heir to the Rat Throne, on a quest to restore his fallen, war-plagued kingdom, while taking down the fearsome Frog Clan and their leader, Greenwart. The game offers robust crafting options, including recipes and weapon and armor blueprints to help players on their journey.
All three games can be added to both PS4 and PS5 game libraries and can be played as long as users remain subscribed to PS Plus. PlayStation also announced a pack of games coming to its Game Catalogue in March, accessible to Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier subscribers, including the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Tchia, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Ghostwire: Tokyo, two Life is Strange titles, and Immortals Fenyx Rising.
PS Plus subscription in India starts at Rs. 499 per month for the Essential tier, Rs. 749 per month for the Extra tier, and Rs. 849 per month for the top-tier Deluxe membership. The three free games for April 2023 are included with all three tiers and will be available until May 1.
