Asus is set to launch its ROG Phone 7 series on April 13, with the smartphones expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Ahead of the launch, key specifications for the phones have been released by a tipster, who claims that the series will include the ROG Phone 7 and the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. The former will feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel macro camera, with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phones are also expected to run Android 13 out of the box. The Ultimate version is expected to feature 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phones have already appeared on benchmarking website Geekbench, which suggests that they will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with a peak clock speed of 3.19GHz.
